Abstract [sv]

Målsättningen med detta utvecklingsprojekt var att göra en förstudie om tillgänglig statistik för fånggrödor och rötrester. Data med tidsserier för fånggrödor som används i andra modelleringsprojekt på SLU kan anpassas relativt enkelt för att inkluderas i kolbalansmodellen ICBM på länsnivå. För rötrester finns det också potentiella källor med tidsserier, men de skulle kräva lite mer förbehandling innan de kan användas. Båda dataserierna sträcker sig så pass långt bak i tiden att de representerar ganska bra den tidpunkten från och med att dessa två faktorer blir relevanta att ha med i markkolsmodelleringen. Modellparametrar (utöver areal fånggrödor och mängd rötrester), som man skulle behöva justera rör framför allt allometriska funktioner för fånggrödor och humifieringskoefficienten för biogödsel.

Abstract [en]

The goal of this development project was to conduct a feasibility study on the available statistics for catch crops and digestate. Data with the time series of catch crops used in other modelling projects at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences, SLU, can be adapted relatively easily for inclusion in the Introductory Carbon Balance Model ICBM at county level. For digestate, there are also potential sources of time series, but they would require a bit more preparation before they can be used. Both data series extends so far back that they represent quite well the point in time from where these two factors will be relevant to include in the modelling of soil carbon. Model parameters (in addition to set-up crops and the amount of digestate) one would need to adjust primarily concern allometric functions for catch crops and the humification coefficient for digestate.
