Green infrastructure is a network of natural and semi-natural pieces of land that connect the habitats of flora and fauna, and is a basis for the well-being of people. A lot of work has been done in Sweden to protect nature, flora and fauna. This has been important for threatened species and habitats, but it is not enough to maintain biodiversity long term.
